Exactly my kind of scent

Purchased at Level One game shop on a visit to KC and I was SO impressed by this scent that I immediately came here to purchase some wax melts and a sample pack. This candle is an experience. To me, it smells like a mix of book pages, leather spines, and an almost cardamom-like spice (very subtle). There's an airiness/dryness to it that also keeps it smelling more fresh than I would expect. If you want your surroundings to smell like an old European library, this is the one for you. I rarely find candles I love this much, and I'm excited to keep repurchasing this one for my candle rotation.

Fantastic and nostaglic

These are incredible and really allow you to escape. The scents are soothing and not over powering. I keep ordering them for gifts... I really need to build my collection. This are just the first think I think about for my gifts. Time to gift myself.

Thanks, Sam! Happy gifting!

Nostalgic, inspiring scent!

This is a wonderful candle. The primary scent makes me imagine the scratching of a pen against parchment and the secondary notes of aged wood and leather take me back to childhood weekends exploring my grandfather's antique shop. It's easy to imagine being in a room filled with old books. It is a more subtle candle but I think it works nicely that way. I like to use it when I'm writing but it also seems to be my default candle whenever I don't have a specific scent in mind.

Understated nostalgia

I have been burning this off and on for the past few months. It is subtle, often I don't notice the smell until after I've left the room and come back, but when it fills the room it's like stepping into a long-forgotten bookstore somewhere off the beaten track, lit only by candles. I'm nostalgic for something I never experienced, which seems to be a common theme.

The closest thing!

To be 100% honest, it doesn’t smell exactly like old books because nothing does. BUT it’s the closest you’ll get. It has fresh hints with definite leather and parchment undertones, and it’s the best “library/old book” candle I’ve ever found. I love it so much I’m buying another right now. I need it for when I write.
